Kathie Flood:
Kathie Flood has worked and played at Microsoft since 1990 and has worked on entertainment projects since 1994. She received her BA in Math and Computer Science from Central College (Pella IA) and her MA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake University (Des Moines IA). She likes to play drums and softball. Most recently, she was the Senior Program Manager for Project Gotham Racing 4, an Xbox 360 game that launched last month. Prior to that, she led the teams for Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360 launch title), NFL Fever 2003 (Xbox Live launch title), NFL Fever 2002 (Xbox launch title), NFL Fever 2000 (PC), and the justifiably maligned, but highly educational Microsoft Soccer (PC). She started at Microsoft in 1990 as a Programmer/Writer on OS/2, Windows 3.1, and Windows NT and then spent two years as a Program Manager in the Microsoft Research group developing online technologies. She grew up in Iowa and received her BA in Math and Computer Science from Central College (Pella IA) and her MA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake University (Des Moines IA). An avid musician, Kathie currently plays drums and percussion with Brass Band Northwest, Orchestra Seattle, and the Usual Suspects. Her favorite credit is "Coloring Assistant" in Tony White's Endangered Species.
